This weeks LIE in the brochure
by DS211 inthis week in the brochure for the "bible reading" it states on subject 24. that jehovahs witnesses wrote a century ago that jehovahs bacjs us and we do t take donations "and we never have!!!!
".....please someone post the information to prove this as a lie as we all know they used to charge for literature.
this is an outright lie lol ridiculous..

I find I am Shunning my family !
by Phizzy inalthough i really hate the wt/jw shunning policy, which especially huts those who have been df'd, i find i am in a kind of way doing it to my jw family.. i do not include them in anything i do, in my own family gatherings, and i cannot be arsed to inform them of things going on in my family, or to even go and see them, unless really necessary.. this all adds up to a kind of "reverse shunning", and i do feel a twinge of guilt about it, but it is simply how things have become.. do you, fellow faders, find a similar thing happening ?.

anybody interestered?
am thinking of tossing it all into a recycle bin .... also thought of selling it on ebay, but that's a bunch of hassle and packaging/weighing, and running to the post office etc., that i don't want to do.

how do you access older magazines on their site, or can you?
if they do have a search feature, it is very well hidden......

Awesome! I love how prepared you were! You had them hemming and hawing and just spouting more crap, and then they out and out LIE!!!!!!!
They lie about shunning, and you are actively being hurt by their stupid shunning rules, and NO, the family ties do not continue, as we all know. Lies and bunk and I can't help being furious right along with you. You handled yourself really well.
And what the heck does that mean, that the "spiritual relationship changes", when your family won't even speak to you, as per the "not even saying a greeting to him" Scripture enforcement. That was a rhetorical question, as we all know what that really means. Just a bunch of steaming sh*t-- like the picture you held up shows! Ugh.

Experiences: CAA needs to emotionally vomit... catharsis... release ... etc.
by confusedandalone inok, so i have been on this journey for about a year or so.
i feel like i am no longer a part of this whacked out religion, however at the same time after spending so many years in it there have been a huge array of things that have happened to me that i feel i need to talk about.
not because they will help anyone who reads them, not because they are the slightest bit interesting, but because i can no longer keep them bottled up and expect to move on.. alot of things i have experienced hurt me deeply... although i was able to move forward with my life these things tend to hang around in my mind because i have never been able to tell anyone outside of my wife.

You know, it's almost like the sisters (well, some of them anyway!) take advantage of the oppressed, sex-guilted male JW because they know the power they hold.... A young, inexperienced boy is easy to inflame ... Don't be too hard on yourself... And you know what, it isn't only the young males, let me amend that!
Speaking as a female, I was quite aware of my sexual power (now fading as I get older!) .... that young sister was not naive, she knew how to play the game. I am sorry you were so hurt. :(
